Instructor: Dr. Tarek Ahmed
Designed for:
Course is suitable for reservoir and production engineers, managers, G∓G Staff, and chemical engineers
Course Overview:
The course is designed to provide a comprehensive treatment of the fundamentals and principles of
various enhanced oil recovery processes. A wide variety of topics will be presented including miscible and immiscible
gas injection, chemical flood, and thermal flooding. The current status of these technologies is discussed and
guidelines are presented for initial screening for each process corresponding to particular field conditions.
